THE CHALLENGE

Volkswagen Financial Services engaged Corporate Crayon to solve for the recruitment and retention of talent. Based in Chullora, VWFS was looking to overcome losing young talent to more centrally located Sydney based organisations. They needed an EVP that spoke beyond salaries, benefits and location, and reached to the heart of what makes Volkswagen Financial Services different.

THE OUTCOME

Engaging current employees and executives, we conducted creative workshops and stakeholder interviews. Synthesising this qualitative and quantitative data, we found the true points of differentiation that drove engagement within the company: Family. Flexibility. Challenge. Benefits. Fun.
Drawing these themes together, we crafted an EVP story that spoke to Volkswagen Financial Service’s strong people culture, culminating in “Driven by more.” Today, Driven by More is supporting the organisation to not only attract top talent, but importantly motivating and retaining their teams to give discretionary effort.
